Jaulah Selangor: K-Fiqh Day 1

K-Fiqh :)
The main reason why we're in Selangor.

Main entrance to MAEPS hall - from Anis's Sony Xperia TX
Each of us was given a file with containing notes and a pin badge as a recognition that we're the participants for the convention. Also, we got 500mL mineral water + a JOM mag + a Solusi mag.
First Q & A session
Some of the beautiful sisters I was with :)

The first talk was by Dr. Zaharuddin. Really like this one hadith from his lecture, it's my first time coming across this hadith -

Next was the talk by Dr. Zahazan and Dr. Sukki.
One of the most interesting stories shared was the story of how well Asma' the daughter of Abu Bakr raised her son, Abdullah. At the age of 7, she told him stories of Rasulullah's struggles to defend Islam. When Abdullah was still a little boy, he once led his peers to Rasulullah's house and then tell Rasulullah that each and every one of them wants to do bai'ah with Rasulullah that they will fight for Islam with Rasulullah :) At the age of 7, mannn~ I play paper dolls, watch doraemon, run away when mama suruh baca al-Quran etc =.="

Oki's hijrah story.
Wonderful it is to listen to her story about her journey to Mecca with the determination to enroll in Umm al-Qura University despite the little savings she had. Allah willed it, the course was free, the hotel owner at which she stayed in let her stay there for free and a taxi driver gave her free rides almost everyday to the uni.

Wonderful it is too to listen to her story about teaching al-Quran at a prison in Indonesia with her friends, approaching those in needs etc.

Touched with the story of a little boy who would run to the masjid everytime he hears the azan. His dad passed away due to accident if I'm not mistaken or killed (not sure). The boy wanted so much to be with his dad again and he knows that the only way for that to happen is that he must strive in this world to make himself eligible to be in the heaven because there he'll get to be with his dad again.

Touched too with the story of a girl who lost a leg and said 'It's alright, there's another.'.

Dr. Muhaya's slot.
As she often say 'reset minda', I think she really has the talent to help people do so (of course, biiznillah) :) Her topic was Rumahtangga dan Kerjaya but her points covered much more than that.

Some of the things she pointed out was:

- Kita tak nampak apa yang kita tak fokus.

- Silap jika kita fikir berkahwin untuk mencari kebahagiaan, sebaliknya kita berkahwin untuk membawa kebahagiaan dalam rumahtangga.

- 3 things we should always remember: Kita hamba Allah, kita khalifah Allah dan kita mahu lakukan semuanya mengikut hukum Allah

- Jika syurga akhirat dicari, insha-Allah pada masa yang sama, syurga dunia juga akan terbina.

- Dunia dalaman menentukan dunia luaran.

- Emosi yang paling best adalah bersyukur.

- Lihat apa yang kita percaya.

- Unconditional love to everybody.

Apart from that, there's a talk on undang-undang related to matrimony like khuluk, talak etc by Dr. Naim and a talk on hukum-hukum explained in an-Nur by Dr. Sofiah.

Singgah solat di Masjid UPM

This was Spaghetti Day. Why?
Because I had seafood spaghetti for breakfast, bolognaise for lunch, special bolognaise for dinner :D

For everything, alhamdulillah.
