A month full of blessings :)
Special offers? 0.o
well, if i were to list all, it would be such a long post. i'll just highlight some~
1. The devils, our greatest enemy, will be chained!
So, if during Ramadhan, you thought of doing something not good, the thought comes solely from you. The devils can't be blamed :P Anyway, since this creature will be chained in Ramadhan, wouldn't Ramadhan be the best month to change for good/ improve ourselves etc :) It would be Us vs Nafs (not nafs = soul) only, instead of Us vs Nafs + Devils like in the other months.
2. Forgiveness of sins & Rewards.
There are a few hadiths about this.
From Abu Hurairah, the Prophet s.a.w. said, Whoever fasts in Ramadhan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. (Bukhari & Muslim)
and there's another one, also from Abu Hurairah,
the Prophet s.a.w. said, Whoever spends the nights of Ramadhan in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. (Bukhari & Muslim)
even if it's just half of an apple, or a glass of water, insha-Allah it counts. there's a hadith about it here. about doing good deeds, anytime would be the best time :D
3. There's Lailatul Qadr, which is better than a thousand months
It is said to be one of the last 10 nights, therefore the last 10 nights would be the best nights to do qiyam.
and there's this one reward one can only get during Ramadhan,
the Prophet s.a.w. said, Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the fasting person's reward in the slightest.

from Aishah r.a., I asked Rasulullah, if I know which night is the night of al-Qadr, what should i recite on that night?. Rasulullah s.a.w. said: Recite this :
اَللَّهُمَّ إنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
O' Allah, indeed you are the Oft-Forgiving. You love forgiveness, therefore forgive me.

as for those having menses, can't perform solat, there are still few ibadahs that can be done in the last 10 nights or any night in Ramadhan such as -
- Zikr (tasbih, tahmid etc)
- Istighfar
- Du'a
Some scholars said that it is permissible for women to read al-Quran during menses. Just hold on to what you believe.
Here's an interesting article written by a friend:
Pre-Ramadhan #5 : Ramadhan tapi period - What to do?
Anyway, let's reap the benefits of Ramadhan! :D
May Allah s.w.t. guide us all
